Our Company


30 years of experience in construction sector

Our founder FATİH ÖREN started his career in decoration sector in 1970. Following the establishment of MERT FURNITURE in 1979 and MERT CONSTRUCTION in 1982, he has worked with several official and private people, corporations and organizations. The experience and accumulation gained as a result of the completed projects and the satisfaction of our customers persuaded us to become a corporate.

The title of our corporation was changed as MERT CONSTRUCTION DECORATION LIMITED FIRM in 1995, and afterwards as MERT CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTING INDUSTRY and TRADE LIMITED FIRM in 2008.

MERT CONSTRUCTION has been reinforcing its experience and has generated a large-scaled portfolio so far with the residences, villas and factory constructions it has performed.

Objective; to perform the most qualified work in the shortest time with accurate information, high quality, low cost, wide range of equipment and accoutrement.
Target; to reach the real position both nationwide and abroad by increasing our quality and work power with the experiences we gain.

Establishment of our company from a literal perspective

Every development has a story, as every happiness, achievement or failure does. And the stories with happy endings are usually shared and told to children, close friends and people with a great pleasure. The establishment of Mert Construction is one of those stories.

Once upon a day, a little boy went to his father’s work with him on one non-business day. While the little boy was wandering around with curiosity, he saw a room whose door was open. Everything in the room looked huge and attractive for the boy, especially the seat behind the desk. It was a soft leather seat and furthermore it was swiveling. Mustering up his courage, he sat on the seat and started to swivel.

Unfortunately, the manager came into the room and when he saw the little boy sitting on his seat, he angrily wanted him to stand up. Hearing the manager’s furious tone, the boy’s father rushed into the room, first looked at his boss and then to his son. At that moment his son said “if only my father were a boss too”.

There are some important moments in a person’s life, and that moment was one of them for the father. He made a decision and started to do his own business. That event was so influencing in his life that he gave his son’s name to the firm he established and started to work ambitiously. He struggled for years and developed his firm with great ambition performing several achievements - bravely like the meaning of his son’s and firm’s name.

While growing up, the little boy was always near his father without someone around to be angry with him. Every day he learned something new about his father’s work and life. One day he was mature enough to manage the work. He started to combine the vision of the new world with his father’s mission and use the sense of quality which he was accustomed to and the branding strategy that he developed as a signature. Seeing that everything is getting better with his son’s efforts, after a while the father handed his seat down his son, saying “if you need me, I will be around”.

Now the little boy sometimes walks with quicksteps and sometimes runs, yet in order to take a breath time to time, he sits on a seat, a chair or a stone in the building site regardless where he is about to sit.
